A Waterford Township woman was found stabbed early Wednesday morning on a Pontiac porch. The 31-year- old woman also had been bitten on her face. Deputies from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office responded at 1:45 a.m. to to Lincoln Avenue after someone called police to report a woman bleeding heavily from a stab wound. Star EMS paramedics gave a dose of Naloxone before transport to the hospital because it appeared she was under the influence of narcotics, the sheriff’s office reported. A tracking dog was used to help follow a blood trail to an apartment on Mark Avenue, where deputies forced entry because no one answered the door. Inside, they found a male juvenile and a woman with blood on a floor and on a chair. Deputies reported also finding narcotics and paraphernalia.

The woman, a 35 year old from Alpena, was arrested and jailed, pending charges that could include felonious assault. The victim was reported to be in serious but stable condition, being treated for the stab wound to her thigh, the bite to her face, and possible hypothermia. At the hospital, deputies reported the victim had given the first name of the person who had stabbed and bitten her.
