Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood have hardly been quarantining in full view this year.

She’s been a periodic guest on his weekly “Inside Studio G” Facebook sessions, and they performed for a CBS concert special during April. And the country couple is back on the network again ( WWJ- Channel 62 in Detroit) at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, with “Garth & Trisha Live! A Holiday Concert Event.”

“It’s all holiday, but that doesn’t mean you can’t do ‘ I’ve got friends in ho, ho, ho places,’” Brooks says, referencing one of his biggest hits. “You have to be creative, and you want to give people what they want at the same time. It’s a holiday special, so hopefully for an hour we can all be together, apart, and kind of celebrate.”

Brooks and Yearwood have been taking fan requests for songs during the special, and they’ll likely perform some from their 2016 “Christmas Together” album. Brooks, meanwhile released “Fun” and “Triple Live Deluxe” during November and is on hold from his Stadium Tour, which last played Feb. 22 at Detroit’s Ford Field.
