Annual event a favorite with locals and visitors

The downtown Fort Myers riverfront area will dazzle with an array of artwork at ArtFest Fort Myers 2018, scheduled Feb. 3 and 4, with its opening night party set for Feb. 2. Unique paintings, jewelry, sculpture and decorative metalwork are just some of the entries being exhibited. More than 200 artists participate from across the country, and the annual event is a favorite with locals and visitors.

Also planned are hands-on art activities, a high school art competition, live music and “savory bites.” The morning of Feb. 4 is the “Publix Run to the Arts,” a fun 5K race that begins and ends at the festival.

“VIP Experience” membership offers reserved weekend parking and unlimited access to a tent with breakfast treats, lunch and beverages during the weekend. Membership costs $125 per person and supports the yearround art education outreach programs of ArtFest Fort Myers.
