While sailing out of the mouth of the Mystic River on our Pearson 33, Full Tilt, we captured the schooner Argia under full sail as she approached the Morgan Point Lighthouse.
Here’s a taste of Thursday night beer-can racing in Lake Pend Orielle on my Beneteau First 33.7, Bleu Okee.
I took this from my beach house at Kafuri Bay, in the very southwest part of Japan. The boat on the right is my 1976 Bayfield 32, Color of the Wind. I bought her six years ago from Seattle, Washington. The boat on the left is my friend’s Santana 2023, which came from California almost 20 years ago. They both seem to be happy here, enjoying Japan.
