I’m a retired shop teacher and my restlessness got me to restoring this little Aquacat 18. I found it in a yard in Olympia, Washington full of water. Now the fun part—filling and paint. Everyone who has ever sailed at a resort has sailed the small Aquacat, but you don’t see many of these 18s around. People have been irate with me on the phone about its very existence, as it’s believed to have totalled the company in its infancy. That said, a restored one will be sailing this fall in Texas. Waiting for when the weather cools!
