New Zealand au­dio spe­cial­ists Fu­sion have in­tro­duced the firstever marine stereo with a glass touch­screen dis­play. The Apollo RA770 sets a high bar for boat entertainment sys­tems; among a host of other fea­tures it has builtin WiFi stream­ing and fea­tures user-cus­tom­iz­a­ble Dig­i­tal Sig­nal Pro­cess­ing (DSP) that matches the am­pli­fier out­put to the speaker pa­ram­e­ters to en­sure clean, dis­tor­tion-free sound at all vol­ume lev­els. Blue­tooth, Op­ti­cal Au­dio, AM/FM ra­dio and AUX and USB inputs are all in­cluded and the unit is Ad­vanced Sir­iusXM-ready. The smaller SRX 400 unit can be used as a stand­alone stereo or be linked wire­lessly to the RA770 in Fu­sion’s Par­tyBus sys­tem.
