This picture of my Beneteau Oceanis 41.1, MOFN, was snapped while racing from Miami to Key Largo. We flew our A-sail, which features a specially designed portrayal of Glaucus, a Greek god that was the protector of sailors and fishermen.
In my second year of sailing I took a trip to the Apostle Islands. During the return sail to Duluth, I sailed solo into this storm—an exciting learning experience.
