May 29, 1923 - Oc­to­ber 10, 2018 De­part­ments. He taught there for 25 years and re­tired with "Pro­fes­sor Emer­i­tus" sta­tus. He was pre­ceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Dolly Trout­man Weaver. Also, his par­ents, his brother, Robert Weaver and his sis­ter, Rose­mary Wilcher. Ralph Ed­ward Weaver, age 95, of Ly­tle, Texas passed away Wed­nes­day, Oct. 10, 2018.

He was born in West­field, IN, on May 29, 1923, to Lester and Ethel Weaver.

He was a WWII Vet­eran. Af­ter the war he and his fam­ily moved sev­eral times, even­tu­ally set­tling in San An­to­nio. He was a pioneer in Vo­ca­tional Ed­u­ca­tion and was hired by St. Philip’s Col­lege to start sev­eral Vo­ca­tional

He is sur­vived by Daugh­ters, Les­lie Jo (John) Gatti, Rock Springs, WY and Christi (Wayne) Vaughn, Ly­tle, TX; Grand­chil­dren Mar­i­anne Gatti (CWO3 Todd Coyle, USMC) Ok­i­nawa, Ja­pan; David Vaughn (Regina), Balko, OK; Cu­morah El­dredge (Sean), Ly­tle, TX; Nathan Vaughn (Cather­ine), Ly­tle, TX and Wil­liam Vaughn (Ash­ley), Ly­tle, TX, and 18 Great-Grand chil­dren.

Visi­ta­tion will be held Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 14, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. un­til 8:00 P.M. Hurley Fu­neral Home Ly­tle, TX. Fu­neral Ser­vices will be held Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 15, 2018 10:00 A.M. Hurley Fu­neral Home Ly­tle, TX with in­tern­ment to fol­low at Ly­tle Com­mu­nity Ceme­tery.
