La­mar up­date: The Car­di­nals come off an open week hav­ing lost four straight games. Their only win this sea­son was a 70-7 blowout of NAIA school Ken­tucky Chris­tian on Sept. 1. … La­mar leads the South­land Con­fer­ence in rush­ing with 226.2 yards per game but ranks last in pass­ing with 173.6 yards per game. Seven play­ers have at least 10 rush­ing at­tempts this sea­son. Se­nior quar­ter­back Dar­rel Col­bert leads the team with 345 yards and six touch­downs, while ju­nior run­ning back A.J.
