Both missed last week’s game be­cause of in­jury. … UTSA has won three straight games af­ter an 0-3 start. The Road­run­ners’ de­fense is hold­ing op­po­nents to 75.7 rush­ing yards per game dur­ing the win streak. … The Road­run­ners have forced 15 turnovers this year, rank­ing sec­ond in Con­fer­ence USA and 15th na­tion­ally. … UTSA’s de­fense av­er­ages 7.8 tack­les for loss per game, lead­ing the con­fer­ence and rank­ing 18th na­tion­ally.

Louisiana Tech up­date: The Bull­dogs have won four straight against the Road­run­ners and hold a 5-1 edge in the all-time series, in­clud­ing a 20-6 win in last year’s reg­u­lar sea­son fi­nale. … Louisiana Tech has con­verted on all 18 of its op­por­tu­ni­ties in the red zone, com­ing away with 12 touch­downs and six field goals. UTSA is also among the group of nine teams with a 100 per­cent con­ver­sion rate in the red zone.
