The story on plans to ex­hibit a rare Leonardo da Vinci paint­ing in San Fran­cisco mis­stated in­for­ma­tion about pre­vi­ous ex­hibits of the artist’s work. Leonardo’s paint­ing “Lady with an Er­mine” was ex­hib­ited in San Fran­cisco in 2003. As the fires be­gan Sun­day, of­fi­cials con­sid­ered send­ing a mass cell phone alert, but didn’t, Oct. 12, A13

The story that be­gan on A1 about Sonoma County of­fi­cials de­cid­ing not to send a Wire­less Emer­gency Alert in the early hours of the Tubbs wild­fire mis­at­tributed a quote to Emer­gency Man­ager Christo­pher Hel­gren. It should have been at­trib­uted to Zachary Hamill, emer­gency co­or­di­na­tor of the Sonoma County Fire and Emer­gency Ser­vices Depart­ment.
