My father thinks that Colin Kaepernick should join the Canadian Football League (CFL) in spite of his desire to play for the NFL. I agree with this opinion. The movement he started should not detract from his ability to play the game.
In fact, the CFL would be more accepting of his liberal politics and this strategy has worked for other professional football players. For example, Joe Kapp was not drafted into the NFL, so he joined the CFL, and he improved to the point where the NFL would accept him as a player. I also think he’s being denied because owners are unsure of if he’s going to hurt their product sales, which is the bottom line.
