Disenfranchise voters

Concerning “Supreme Court allows states to purge voter registrations” ( June 12): So our Supreme Court has given the green light to Ohio (and possibly other states) to clean up their voter rolls by purging them of citizens who skip an election cycle or don’t respond to mail notices?

This ruling will thrill Republicans, since it further disenfranchises poor and minority voters while enhancing their own election prospects.

That hammering sound you hear at our nation’s highest court is of another nail being driven into the coffin of our democracy.
