Army averages 308 rushing yards per game, behind only Georgia Tech (372) and Navy (310.4) in the nation. Quarterback Kelvin Hopkins Jr. is at the controls of the Black Knights’ offense; he’s their leading rusher with 397 yards and has thrown for 551 yards. Only once this season has he attempted more than 10 passes in a game. He went 10-for-21 in Army’s 34-14 loss at Duke in the season opener.

San Jose State’s quarterback situation has returned to murky. Junior Josh Love, who started the past three games, was sacked five times in last Saturday’s 42-30 loss to Colorado State. He left the game late in the fourth quarter with an undisclosed injury. Sophomore Montel Aaron, who replaced Love against the Rams, has gotten more reps in practice this week than he has had in recent weeks.

This is the first of four college games at Levi’s Stadium this season. The Pac-12 championship game is set for Nov. 30. The Redbox Bowl (formerly the Foster Farms Bowl) will be played Dec. 31, with the College Football Playoff national championship game a week later, Jan. 7.
