UCLA (0-5, 0-2 Pac-12) at Cal (3-2, 0-2)
When: Saturday, 4 p.m. Where: Memorial Stadium TV/Radio: P12 Net/810
Story lines: If there’s such a thing as a must-win game at the midway point of a season, this is it for Cal. After hosting UCLA this week and playing at Oregon State next week, the Bears probably won’t be favored in another game this season. Cal likely needs to win the next two and find a victory down the line just to qualify for a bowl game.
Injuries: UCLA — LB Je’Vari Anderson, DB Kenny Churchwell, LB Mique Juarez, OL Justin Murphy, DL Jaelan Phillips and WR Kyle Phillips are out with undisclosed injuries. OL Zach Sweeney (shoulder) and LB Josh Woods (knee) are out for the season. Cal — QB Ross Bowers (hand) and WR Jordan Duncan (upper body) are questionable. RB Johnny Adams Jr. (lower body), OL Henry Bazakas (lower body), LB Gerran Brown (medical retirement), RB Derrick Clark (lower body) and LB Cameron Goode (lower body) are out.
