In step with African American history
Dakota Harris (left), Taylor Williams, Sutchat Mosley and Jasmine Corley, dancers with Project Level, perform at the Black History Month Celebration on Saturday at San Francisco’s Fillmore Heritage Center. Mayor London Breed, Police Chief Bill Scott and District Five Supervisor Vallie Brown appeared at the event, whose main sponsor was the San Francisco Police Department. The event, which was part of an effort by Scott to heal wounds between the Police Department and communities of color, also featured food, live music and a raffle.
