Weekly coronavirus cases and deaths

Case rates per 100,000 increased slightly this past week, but both the Bay Area and California have lower rates than the U.S. average. Bay Area deaths per 100,000 have increased in recent weeks due to lags in reporting but remain below U.S. and state averages.
