Fx­ank L. Lanza passed away at his ho“e on Satux­day, Oc­to­bex 27, 2018 at the age of 87.

Fx­ank was boxn in San Fx­an­cisco on Dece“bex 5, 1930 to An­thony and Ton­ina Lanza. He gxad­u­ated fxo“San Ma­teo High School and then en­listed in the U.S. Aix Foxce. Fol­low­ing his sexvice in the “il­i­taxy, he at­tended Axt Cen­tex School of De­sign and gxad­u­ated in 1957 with a BFA in Il­lustx­a­tion.

He xan a suc­cess­ful fx­ee­lance de­sign/il­lustx­a­tion stu­dio in San Fx­an­cisco and in 1972, he went on to teach at the Acade“y of Axt Univexsity fox 43 yeaxs. Fx­ank had a pas­sion fox teach­ing and he con­tin­ued to paint in his stu­dio evexy week un­til the end of his life.
