Lois I. Ma­her, in S.F., Septem­ber 14. Na­tive San Fran­cis­can. Died peace­fully hold­ing her son’s and daugh­ter’s hands. Born to Rose and Hugh McNab. Re­united with her lov­ing hus­band Joseph. Idol­ized mother of James and Linda, cher­ished mother-in-law to Joe­lene Ma­her and Terrie Gigliotti. Lov­ing Nana of Ben­jamin (Julie), Alice, Jeffrey, Caro­line and Chris Love; lov­ing great grand­mother of David, El­iza and Char­lie. Also lov­ing Nana to her grand dog­gies Hal­lie and Char­lie. Sis­ter of Ed­ward (Joann) McNab, Janet (Leo) Scopesi, and the late Don­ald McNab, Marilyn (Tom) McCarthy; sis­ter-in­law of Jeanne McNab.

Af­fec­tion­ately known as Aun­tie Lo to many nieces and neph­ews. Each and ev­ery one of you had a spe­cial place in her heart.

Grad­u­ated from St. Ce­cilia’s Gram­mar School and St. Paul’s High School, class of 1942. Worked at New York Life In­sur­ance Com­pany. Mem­ber of St. Gabriel’s Ladies So­dal­ity.

Friends may visit Tues­day af­ter 4:00pm and are in­vited to at­tend the Vigil Ser­vice Tues­day, Septem­ber 19th, 7:00pm at DUG­GAN’S SERRA MOR­TU­ARY, 500 West­lake Ave., Daly City. The Funeral Mass will be cel­e­brated Wed­nes­day 11:00am at St. Gabriel Church, 40th and Ul­loa, SF. Com­mit­tal Holy Cross Ceme­tery. Do­na­tions to your fa­vorite char­ity pre­ferred.
