Michael graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in history that allowed him to pursue a career in teaching. His kind and giving nature was appreciated by many friends and family as well as the special education children he taught over the years. Michael remained a Berkeley resident after college and adored his Berkeley community. He spent many years playing tennis and attending to his garden in Berkeley.
