Please pray for the re­pose of the soul of Char­lie Cone­frey who died on Jan­uary 9, 2018. The youngest of seven chil­dren, he is pre­de­ceased by his mother, Brigid McKeon Cone­frey, his father John Joe, his broth­ers Sea­mus, Sean and Tommy, his sis­ters Anna May Wil­liams and Lizzy Mor­ris, his broth­ers-in-law Fin­tan Mor­ris and John Joe Wil­liams: as well as many dear cousins, the most re­cent be­ing Fr. Michael McKeon.

Char­lie will be sadly missed by his lov­ing sis­ter Sr. Ellen Mary Cone­frey D.M.J.. Sis­ters-in-law Sally Cone­frey, San Fran­cisco, Peggy Cone­frey, Cor­glass, Co. Long­ford; eigh­teen nieces and neph­ews, all his nieces-in-law and nephew’sin-law, thirty-nine grand­nieces and neph­ews and six great-grand nieces and neph­ews. Char­lie will also be missed by a wide cir­cle of cousins and friends.

Char­lie im­mi­grated to San Fran­cisco from Ire­land in 1957 where he made him­self at home in the City that he loved. Char­lie worked as a car­pen­ter and was a proud mem­ber of Car­pen­ter’s Lo­cal 22. Char­lie was well known around town and around the lo­cal golf cour­ses. He eas­ily made friends, both young and old, and will be re­mem­bered fondly by all who knew him.

Friends may call Mon­day 2 pm to 5 pm at Dug­gan’s Fu­neral Ser­vice, 3434 17th St. and af­ter 6:15 pm at St. Ce­cilia’s Church where the Vigil will be held at 7:00 pm and the Fu­neral Mass will be cel­e­brated on Tues­day at 11:00 am. Com­mit­tal, Holy Cross Ceme­tery. In lieu of flow­ers, please have a mass of­fered for the re­pose of Char­lie’s soul.
