Sharon Lynn Michalske

San Francisco Chronicle - - LIFE TRIBUTES -

Sherry passed away peacefully on November 2nd, 2018 at age 71. She is survived by her loving husband Dan Michalske; sons Greg Harsha (Rhoslyn), Michael Michalske (Diana); granddaughters Mia Harsha, Fiona Michalske; sister Barbara Desanto; and many extended family members.

A proud third generation San Franciscan, Sherry grew up in the Mission District and attended St. Peter’s High School. She went on to work as an office administrator and later as the office manager for a successful architectural firm. Sherry loved her work and was a wonderful “office mom” to many throughout her career.

She was an accomplished artist and enjoyed painting scenes of her favorite landscapes. Her dreamy renditions of Mt. Davidson, Miraloma Park and scenes from dog- walking escapades with her beloved Kodiak are reminders of her passion for her magical city.

Sherry will be loved and remembered as a generous spirit with a tenacious adherence to “do what is right!” Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life Tuesday, November 13th at 11:00 am St. Brendan Church, 29 Rockaway Ave, San Francisco, CA 94127.
