Governor, wife test positive
Missouri Gov. Mike Parson, a Republican who has steadfastly refused to require residents to wear masks, tested positive for the coronavirus, his office said Wednesday. Parson was tested after his wife, Teresa, tested positive earlier in the day. Two other GOP governors also have tested positive for COVID19, though Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine’s test turned out to be a false positive. Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt became the first governor to test positive in July. He returned to work less than two weeks later.
