Clovis police release 911 calls in shooting
CLOVIS — Clovis police have released 911 calls from the chaotic scene inside the Clovis public library during an Aug. 28 shooting in which two people were killed and four others wounded.
Media outlets report that the calls include pleas for help and descriptions of what the callers had seen or heard. Some callers were taking cover in an office or closet. Dispatchers asked what was happening and offered advice and reassurances that help was on the way.
A indictment issued Sept. 18 charges 16-year-old Nathaniel Jouett with 33 counts of murder and other crimes.
