BOOK SALE BAG DAY: The Friends of the Santa Fe Pub­lic Li­brary will hold a book sale at the Main Li­brary, 145 Wash­ing­ton Ave., from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Some books $5 per bag. FAM­I­LIES MAKE HIS­TORY WORK­SHOP: The New Mex­ico His­tory Mu­seum, 113 Lin­coln Ave., in­vites fam­i­lies to learn how to make New Mex­i­can-style cus­tom tiles from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. There is no charge to par­tic­i­pate. LOS LUCEROS FALL AP­PLE FES­TI­VAL: The fes­ti­val, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the his­toric 148-acre, state-owned Los Luceros ranch in Al­cade, fea­tures demon­stra­tions on her­itage ap­ple cook­ing, cider press­ing, live mu­sic and tours of the prop­erty. Spon­sored by New Mex­ico His­toric Sites, the fes­ti­val will be held at Casa Grande at Los Luceros, off N.M. 68 in Al­calde along the Rio Grande. SANTA FE RE­NAIS­SANCE FAIR: Travel back in time at New Mex­ico’s decade­old pre­mier Re­nais­sance fair at El Ran­cho de las Golon­dri­nas, 334 Los Pi­nos Road in La Cienega. The event, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., fea­tures Clan Tynker and the Or­der of Epona jousters, as well as per­for­mances and mu­sic, food, games, and arts and crafts ven­dors. Tick­ets are $12 for adults, $10 for chil­dren and teens and free for kids 12 and un­der.
