BOOK SALE BAG DAY: The Friends of the Santa Fe Public Library will hold a book sale at the Main Library, 145 Washington Ave., from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Some books $5 per bag. FAMILIES MAKE HISTORY WORKSHOP: The New Mexico History Museum, 113 Lincoln Ave., invites families to learn how to make New Mexican-style custom tiles from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. There is no charge to participate. LOS LUCEROS FALL APPLE FESTIVAL: The festival, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the historic 148-acre, state-owned Los Luceros ranch in Alcade, features demonstrations on heritage apple cooking, cider pressing, live music and tours of the property. Sponsored by New Mexico Historic Sites, the festival will be held at Casa Grande at Los Luceros, off N.M. 68 in Alcalde along the Rio Grande. SANTA FE RENAISSANCE FAIR: Travel back in time at New Mexico’s decadeold premier Renaissance fair at El Rancho de las Golondrinas, 334 Los Pinos Road in La Cienega. The event, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., features Clan Tynker and the Order of Epona jousters, as well as performances and music, food, games, and arts and crafts vendors. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for children and teens and free for kids 12 and under.
