NEED PRACTICE? RANK SOME BREWS

FairVote New Mexico is holding mock ranked-choice elections to help educate voters on the new system that will be used in the March 6 municipal election — except these events involves ranking locally brewed beer.

An event was held Thursday at Second Street Brewery’s original Second Street location. Three additional mock beer elections will be held:

Noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at the brewer’s Rufina Tap Room, 2920 Rufina St.

5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb 22, at Desert Dogs Brewery, 112 W. San Francisco St., Suite 307

11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at Amaya restaurant in the Hotel Santa Fe, 1501 Paseo de Peralta.
