Cynar Hard Candy
MAKES ABOUT ¾ CUP CANDY SHARDS
Line a baking sheet with a lightly oiled sheet of foil or a silicone baking mat and set aside. Pour 2 cups Cynar into a medium saucepan fitted with a candy thermometer and set over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil; cook until it reaches the “hard ball” stage (300°), about 6 minutes. Immediately remove from heat. Carefully pour the hot candy onto the prepared baking sheet and cool completely. Break into shards or pulse to a powder in a very dry food processor.
