TRISHA DEWEY is a li­censed es­theti­cian and na­tive of Palm Beach, Florida. She has trav­elled ex­ten­sively through Europe and in Latin Amer­ica. For JACK FEERICK, free­lance writ­ing is a life­long ed­u­ca­tion. “I’ve never been an ex­pert on any­thing be­fore writ­ing about it,” he says. “The fun of it is in the re­search. I’m al­ways in learn­ing some­thing new.” He has writ­ten for Bet­ter Homes & Gar­dens, The Satur­day Evening Post, and men­tal_floss, along with po­etry, fic­tion, and comics for a va­ri­ety of small presses. LOREN HOLMES grew up kayak­ing, hik­ing, and ex­plor­ing Alaska. When not mak­ing pho­tos, he can usu­ally be found singing with the opera or prac­tic­ing rid­ing his uni­cy­cle. He has trav­eled ex­ten­sively and worked for clients in­clud­ing The New York Times, Sun­set, Alaska Magazine, and Sch­weizer Il­lus­tri­erte, and El­se­vie.

As a teenager, ANDREW MACLEAR pho­tographed many lu­mi­nar­ies of the Swing­ing Six­ties in Lon­don, then turned to screen­writ­ing and lat­terly to the more leisurely pur­suit of pho­tograph­ing cruise ships and their des­ti­na­tions. He still has and uses his orig­i­nal, all-man­ual Nikon F dat­ing from 1968. Andrew lives in Spain.

KEVIN REVOLINSKI has lived abroad in such places as Italy, Panama, and Gu­atemala, writ­ing for Rough Guide guide­books, Caribbean Travel & Life, the Chicago Tri­bune, and the Wis­con­sin State Jour­nal, as well as writ­ing a mem­oir, The Yogurt Man Cometh: Tales of an Amer­i­can Teacher in Turkey.

A former TV re­porter, Hous­ton-based RICHARD VARR has pub­lished sto­ries and pho­tos in USA TO­DAY, AOL Travel, the Dal­las Morn­ing News, Port­hole Cruise Magazine, Is­lands, Syd­ney Morn­ing Her­ald, Good Sam Club’s High­ways and AAA’s Home & Away. Richard re­searched and wrote the Dor­ling Kin­der­s­ley Eye­wit­ness Travel Guide to Philadel­phia & The Penn­syl­va­nia Dutch Coun­try.
