Seabourn Club Herald - - RIGHT STUFF -

Any traveler knows the usefulness of a scarf – a bit of warmth when the breeze blows, a bit of shade when the sun blazes, and most of all a splash of color to dress up what can otherwise be an unprepossessing practical outfit. Olivier Strelli knows how to make a statement with the striking patterns of his Summer 2017 collection, woven from a well-wearing blend of wool, silk and cotton. The Galileo is a majestic testimonial to a love of traveling – an heirloom globe, 80cm in diameter, resting on a cherry and sustainable-oak base with a hand-engraved, solid brass meridian. Though executed in the style of Willem Blaeu’s 1599 globe, the map is cartographically correct and tinted with many layers of watercolor washes painted by hand in Bellerby & Co’s London studios and coated with a UV-resistant gloss. beller
