Amer­i­can Le­gion in­vites pub­lic to monthly din­ners

The Springville- Maple­ton Amer­i­can Le­gion & Aux­il­iary held their monthly meet­ing on April 9th. Af­ter a short busi­ness meet­ing, pro­gram Chair­man Waldo and Mar­ian Ja­cob­son in­tro­duced the mu­si­cal pro­gram, Ste­wart Maxwell who sang many orig­i­nal songs, played the gui­tar, har­mon­ica, and vi­o­lin. He fin­ished the pro­gram with The Or­ange Blos­som Spe­cial. Light re­fresh­ments were served.

We will be meet­ing on May 14th at the Se­nior Cit­i­zens build­ing at 65 East 200 South in Springville at 7 PM. This will be the Aux­il­iary’s an­nual Poppy Fundrais­ing Spaghetti Din­ner. The pro­ceeds will sup­port Aux­il­iary pro­grams such as: Child Wel­fare, Vet­er­ans Fam­i­lies, and the new Utah County Vet­er­ans Nurs­ing and Re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion Home in Payson.

The din­ner is for all Vet­er­ans and the pub­lic and will be $ 8 per per­son. For more in­for­ma­tion call:
