Great things are hap­pen­ing in San­taquin City

I-15 & US-6 Main Street Im­prove­ments - Ap­provals have been ob­tained and fund­ing al­lo­cated for the early spring con­struc­tion of a new “free right” turn­ing lane off the south bound Main Street exit which will al­low traf­fic to flow on to a new west bound lane on Main Street with­out stop­ping at the light. Also in­cluded in this projects is a “right only” turn­ing lane that will al­low traf­fic to flow north on a newly con­structed 500 East. All of this work will en­hance our road con­nec­tiv­ity while also sup­port­ing the fu­ture de­vel­op­ment of new Gro­cery Store.

Sec­ond Ac­cess to Sum­mit Ridge -The San­taquin City coun­cil has been work­ing with UDOT, Utah County, Sum­mit Creek Ir­ri­ga­tion and many oth­ers on the plan­ning and de­sign of a sec­ondary ac­cess to Sum­mit Ridge. While this project may still be a few years out, a sec­ondary ac­cess will en­hance Fire, EMS and Po­lice re­sponse, en­hance com­mu­nity con­nec­tiv­ity, pro­vide ad­di­tional nat­u­ral gas for fu­ture de­vel­op­ment as well as pro­vide in­fra­struc­ture for a fu­ture business park along Main Street.

Curb­side Re­cy­cling -- San­taquin City, in con­junc­tion with Repub­lic Ser­vices, is proud to of­fer Curb­side Re­cy­cling. Those who choose to not par­tic­i­pate can opt-out from now un­til De­cem­ber 30th. New cans will be or­dered and de­liv­ered at the be­gin­ning of the year and ser­vice will be­gin March 1st.
