Utah Marsh Duck Hun­ters plan cook-off fundraiser

The Utah Marsh Duck Hun­ters are plan­ning a wild game cook- off event on Satur­day, June 6, from 2 to 6 p. m. Come and par­tic­i­pate and show oth­ers how tasty wild game, duck, deer and elk can be if pre­pared prop­erly. Cash prizes will be awarded, ven­dors will have prod­ucts for sale and food sampling will be avail­able.

All funds raised over ex­penses will be do­nated to Chair­bound Sports­man, a non­profi t or­ga­ni­za­tion which helps dis­abled per­sons and wounded war­riors have free fi shing and hunt­ing ad­ven­tures.

If you would like to par­tic­i­pate in th­ese cook-off events, there is a $20 reg­is­tra­tion fee for each cat­e­gory that will get you a free event T-shirt as well.

The event will be held at the We­ber County Sher­iff’s Mounted Posse Club House, 810 Har­risville Rd., Og­den. The doors will open for cooks at 6 a.m. and for the gen­eral public at 2 p.m. This is planned to be a fam­ily-friendly, fun event, so all are in­vited to at­tend.
