Di­a­mond Flight Cen­ter spon­sors awards for BYU Ju­nior ROTC Com­pe­ti­tion

On Satur­day, May 9, the first Ju­nior ROTC com­pe­ti­tion event ever held in Utah was hosted by the Brigham Young Uni­ver­sity Arnold Air So­ci­ety. The event was called the Ju­nior Utah Mil­i­tary Ba­sic Op­er­a­tions Com­pe­ti­tion.

Two hun­dred par­tic­i­pants from four high schools - Provo, Dixie, North Ridge and the Utah Mil­i­tary Academy - demon­strated skills in aca­demics, dis­ci­pline, phys­i­cal train­ing, team­work and lead­er­ship.

The event in­cluded lunch spon­sored by Zions Bank and awards spon­sored by Di­a­mond Flight Cen­ter of the Springville-Span­ish Fork Air­port.
