Amer­i­can Le­gion Aux­il­iary Unit #28 and Post #28 held their an­nual Girls State and Boys State re­port meet­ing on Wed­nes­day, June 17, at the Kelly’s Grove Vet­er­ans Pav­il­ion. The Boys and Girls State cit­i­zens told how much they learned about gov­ern­ment on city, county, state and na­tional lev­els. They told about the of­fices they were elected or ap­pointed to such as Coun­cil­man, Judge, Po­lice Chief, Mayor, etc. Light re­fresh­ments were served.

The next meet­ing will be held at the Vet­er­ans Pav­il­ion in Kelly’s Grove on Wed­nes­day, July 8, at 6 pm. It is a potluck and bring your own dishes. All Le­gion and Aux­il­iary mem­bers are in­vited.

Girls who at­tended Girls State re­ported their ex­pe­ri­ences to mem­bers of the Amer­i­can Le­gion and Aux­il­iary in Springville re­cently.
