San­taquin Amer­i­can Le­gion Aux­il­iary to honor vet­er­ans

San­taquin Amer­i­can Le­gion Aux­il­iary #84 will hold its sec­ond an­nual Vet­eran’s Day Din­ner on Wed­nes­day, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m. in the San­taquin Vet­er­ans/Se­nior Cit­i­zens Cen­ter at 55 W. 100 South in San­taquin.

The din­ner will be prime rib and is free to all vet­er­ans and their spouses. All vet­er­ans from south­ern Utah County are in­vited. You need not be­long to the Amer­i­can Le­gion or any other mil­i­tary or­ga­ni­za­tion. You need only have been a mem­ber of the Armed Forces.

Our guest speaker will be Col. Ron­ald S. Jensen, U.S. Army re­tired, of Payson, who will tell us of his ser­vice in Korea and Viet­nam. Our aux­il­iary unit will also be cel­e­brat­ing it 60th birth­day.

The evening will also fea­ture the draw­ing for our Pa­tri­otic Quilt for the Fisher House at the VA Hos­pi­tal. Tick­ets can still be bought from aux­il­iary mem­bers or at the door.
