His­tor­i­cal so­ci­ety event to fea­ture Clive Rom­ney

The Wed­nes­day, Feb. 24, meet­ing of the Springville His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety will fea­ture Clive Rom­ney, a Utah his­tory buff, sto­ry­teller, cow­boy poet, com­poser and pro­ducer of more than 30 al­bums of mu­sic.

The pub­lic is in­vited to this free event, which will he held at the Springville Mu­seum of Art at 7 p.m. The mu­seum is lo­cated at 126 E. 400 South in Springville.

His­tor­i­cal so­ci­ety lec­tures will be pre­sented on the fourth Wed­nes­day of each month through May fea­tur­ing speak­ers ad­dress­ing many dif­fer­ent sub­jects.

The his­tor­i­cal so­ci­ety’s of­fice is lo­cated on the lower level of the Springville Daugh­ters of Utah Pi­o­neers build­ing, 175 S. Main, and is open ev­ery Mon­day from 1 to 4 p.m. and other times dur­ing the week by ap­point­ment. Call 801-491-2076 for more in­for­ma­tion. In March, they will be open ev­ery Wed­nes­day, Fri­day and Satur­day from 1 to 4 p.m.
