Fam­ily his­tory fair to of­fer a va­ri­ety of top­ics on Feb. 27

The Maple­ton Fam­ily His­tory Cen­ter will spon­sor a fam­ily his­tory fair on Satur­day, Feb. 27, at the Maple­ton North Stake Cen­ter, lo­cated at 475 N. High­way 89 in Maple­ton.The pub­lic is in­vited to at­tend. The fair will be­gin at 9 a.m. and is free of charge.

The theme for the fair is “Fam­ily His­tory: Ev­ery­one Can Do It!” There will be classes for all skill lev­els. At 9 a.m., the key­note ad­dress will be given, with a va­ri­ety of classes fol­low­ing through­out the morn­ing and af­ter­noon. Top­ics will in­clude how to use Fam­i­lySearch and ances­try.com more ef­fec­tively, an in­tro­duc­tion to in­dex­ing, re­search us­ing news­pa­pers, fam­ily search mo­bile apps, re­search­ing us­ing Google and shar­ing fam­ily his­tory sto­ries.
