Lou Bal­lamis re­ceives Cen­tral Bank’s Good Cit­i­zen Award

Cen­tral Bank is pleased to honor Lou Bal­lamis for the pos­i­tive im­pact he’s had on the Payson community by pre­sent­ing him with the Cen­tral Bank Good Cit­i­zen Award. Bal­lamis re­ceived the award on April 14 at an open house at Cen­tral Bank in Payson.

Born and raised in Sandy, Bal­lamis has been a Payson res­i­dent for 12 years. He and his wife, Cherie, own and op­er­ate Lou’s Bar­ber Shop on Payson’s His­toric Down­town Main Street. The bar­ber shop has been in busi­ness for 20 years as of April. Bal­lamis said he loves liv­ing and work­ing in the Payson community and en­joys rub­bing shoul­ders with the great peo­ple who live here.

Bal­lamis has served on the Payson & San­taquin Area Cham­ber of Com­merce board for the last five years and sits on the board of Com­mu­ni­ties That Care in Payson. He also serves ac­tively in his church, The Church of Je­sus Christ of Lat­ter-day Saints.
