Some­timesyou get stuck in a rut. When you want to go out to eat but you can only think of the three places where you al­ways go. There is some­thing com­fort­ing in the fa­mil­iar, but at the same time it can get bor­ing. Do you ever want to check out a new place but don’t quite feel brave enough? You know there are restau­rants ga­lore but you can’t think of where you want to go. Do you wish that there was a way to find out about new fun places to go?

De­lec­ta­ble Din­ing is a monthly col­umn in Serve Daily that takes the guess­work out of try­ing new places. I check out the restau­rant, try a va­ri­ety of dishes and share my fa­vorites with you. I scope out the new places, check out the lo­cal fa­vorites and share my find­ings. Ev­ery restau­rant has that one sig­na­ture dish that stands out and makes you want to come back next week. I’ll find that dish for you.

De­lec­ta­ble Din­ing is about find­ing new food ad­ven­tures in Utah County. From Springville to Nephi, we high­light a new restau­rant each month. You don’t have to drive by and won­der about that new restau­rant on the cor­ner any­more. I’ll give it a try and then fill you in on the best things to or­der. I’ll help you find a new fa­vorite or at least add some va­ri­ety to your din­ing out ex­pe­ri­ence.

Some per­sonal fa­vorites over the past two years in­clude the smoked turkey at Madera Smoke­house, the chicken sand­wich at Chick-Fil-A, the chicken sand­wich on fo­cac­cia at V Sis­ters Cater­ing, the spe­cial with a shake at Stone Drug (cheese­burger and fries), the beef pot roast sand­wich with root beer at Cul­ver’s, the Crunch Roll at JFE Sushi in Macey’s, the Meat Juhn at Ohana Grill, the Chicken Tikka Masala at Stan’s, the lime phos­phate at Eli’s, the chicken marsala at Dal­ton’s, the grilled chicken sand­wich on a scone at Mr. Grill, the smoked turkey melt at Hick­ory Kist, the Nutella break­fast at Or­ange Peel, and loaded fries at Sip’N.
