San­taquin City plans golf tour­na­ment

San­taquin City’s first ever Long Drive Golf Tour­na­ment will be held on Satur­day, Sept. 17, at the Nephi Golf Course. The tour­na­ment for­mat will be a four-per­son scram­ble.

The sched­ule will be as fol­lows: check- in from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., golf­ing from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and lunch, awards and prizes from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Team en­try fee is $100 which will in­clude nine holes with cart; lunch; prize draw­ings; skill awards for the long­est drive, clos­est to the hole and long­est putt; and prizes for the first-, sec­ond- and third- place teams.

Reg­is­tra­tion deadline is Satur­day, Sept. 14, or un­til all the avail­able slots are full. Reg­is­ter on­line at www.san­taquin.org or in per­son at the San­taquin Recre­ation Of­fice,45 W. 100 South, San­taquin.
