Nebo stu­dents bring home na­tional FF A hon­ors

Del­e­gates – Sakia Brost (Salem) and An­da­lyn Hall( Spring ville) served as of­fi­cial del­e­gates for Utah in the busi­ness ses­sions in their roles as state of­fi­cers.

The Amer­i­can FFA De­gree is be­stowed upon a se­lect group of stu­dents in recog­ni­tion of their years of aca­demic and pro­fes­sional ex­cel­lence. This year, 3,780 Amer­i­can De­grees were awarded. Lo­cal stu­dents re­ceiv­ing Amer­i­can De­grees were:

Span­ish Fork High School: Mitchell Frost, Cooper Galt, Kaitlin Hal­lam, Dal­ton Sorensen, Katie Thomas and Seth Wor­thing­ton. Salem Hills High School: Tif­fany An­der­son, Rylee Beck­stead, Cheyenne Deepen and Mariah Manookin. Payson: Casey Giff­ing, Wy­att McDaniel and Carlysa Open­shaw. Springville: Caitlin Dinkel and Christina No­lasco.

Each year, the Na­tional FFA Or­ga­ni­za­tion hon­ors FFA mem­bers who show the ut­most ded­i­ca­tion to the or­ga­ni­za­tion through their de­sire to de­velop their po­ten­tial for premier lead­er­ship, per­sonal growth and ca­reer suc­cess through agri­cul­tural ed­u­ca­tion.

Amer­i­can Lead­er­ship Academy’s 2016 Christ­mas con­certs will be Dec. 1, 2 and 5.
