Roy Jacobson, 82, our lov­ing hus­band, on Sun­days fa­ther, grand­fa­ther and great-grand­fa­ther, down by the passed peace­fully sur­rounded by his lov­ing creek. fam­ily on Jan. 14, 2017. He grew up on the fam­ily farm and years; five chil­dren: worked in his fa­ther’s coal mine in Up­ton. Wil­liam He at­tended and grad­u­ated from North Roy (LaRita) Jacobson, Sum­mit High School. In high school he Up­ton; started dat­ing and later mar­ried his high Kathy (Don) school sweet­heart Ann New­ton on June 3, Wool­sten­hulme, 1955, in the Salt Lake Tem­ple. They lived Wan­ship; Su­san in Up­ton in the same house for 62 years. Roy en­joyed the out­doors, camp­ing, and a sis­ter, Mar­lene Brown. hunt­ing and fish­ing, and he loved to Roy was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents; work on the farm. a grand­daugh­ter, Jen­nafer Ju­lia Jacobson;

He en­joyed spend­ing time with his and a grand­son, Bran­don Jones. chil­dren, grand­chil­dren and great-grand­chil­dren.
