Middle School Adopters to host chili supper, silent auction Nov. 2
The Siloam Springs Middle School Adopters group will host its annual fundraiser for the school — a chili supper and silent auction — from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at Siloam Springs Middle School’s Cafeteria, 600 S. Dogwood St.
New this year, there will be several live auctions occurring during the evening.
This year, cinnamon rolls also will be sold in boxes of half a dozen for $5.
And dinner rolls will be for on sale for $3 for half a dozen rolls.
Entertainment for the evening will be provided by middle school student groups including the band, choir, art and cheer.
Cost for the chili supper will be $5 for ninth-grade students to adults; $3 for children in grades kindergarten through eighth; and free for children in preschool and younger. Chili will be served from 5:30-7 p.m.
After 7 p.m., chili will be sold in bulk containers to go.
During the supper, there will be a silent auction featuring donated items such as: gift certificates to local businesses, restaurants and national chains; gym memberships; holiday gifts and décor; athletic passes; apparel; and more.
Middle School students have been working on team baskets for the silent auction featuring special themes.
