Scholarship committee says thanks

- From: Amber Carter

On Thursday, May 17, the 42nd Annual Siloam Springs High School Scholarship Awards Program was held in the high school theater for the graduating class of 2018.

Special presentations were made to the following donors:

In honor of Rebecca Bergen and in Memory of Bill Bergen and Ryan Engineering Inc., who have donated for 25 years.

A moving tribute was paid to the late Mrs. Nancy Van Poucke, one of the founding members of the scholarship program by Mrs. Leah Houston, another founding member.

The community of Siloam Springs has long recognized the importance of education for its youth and together, industries, businesses, foundations, clubs, memorials, organizations and individuals once again demonstrated that support by generously giving to the Siloam

Springs High School graduating seniors.

The Siloam Springs High School Class of 2018 and the Scholarship Committee would like to extend a very special thank you to the donors, as well as the many business, community and school volunteers who helped in every aspect of this event.
