Norma “Cookie” Fields

Norma “Cookie” Fields, 74, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Aug. 25, 2018, in San An­to­nio, Texas.

She was born Oct. 18, 1943, in Brook­lyn, N.Y., to Fran­cisco Ray­mond Del­gado and Rose Marie Del­gado. She mar­ried Richard A. Fields. She was the owner and op­er­a­tor of the Span­ish Villa Res­tau­rant as well as Cookie’s Oa­sis. She also was a li­censed prac­ti­cal nurse for Wash­ing­ton Re­gional Hos­pi­tal be­fore re­tir­ing. She was a mem­ber of Christ Tem­ple Church in West Siloam Springs, Okla.

She is sur­vived by six chil­dren, Lily Soto of Siloam Springs, John Soto and wife Astrid Soto of Siloam Springs, Nancy Bai­ley and hus­band David of San An­to­nio, Michelle Laird and hus­band Mark of Spring­dale, Ark., Tina Marie Hitcher of Fayetteville, Ark., and Chris Fields and wife Jen­nifer Fields of Pottsville, Ark.; more than 60 grand­chil­dren and great-grand­chil­dren; and a sib­ling, Luis “Billy” Vasquez of Cam­den, N.J.

Vis­i­ta­tion will be 6 to 8 p.m. Mon­day, Sept. 3, 2018, at Was­son Fu­neral Home in Siloam Springs.

Fu­neral ser­vices will be 2 p.m. Tues­day, Sept. 4, 2018, at Was­son Fu­neral Home in Siloam Springs. Burial will fol­low at Bell Ceme­tery in Watts, Okla.
