The Siloam Springs Public Library will resume weekly programming Tuesday, Sept. 4. The after-school program will be 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. The preschool programs will be 10 a.m. on Wednesdays with Ms. Julia and 11 a.m. on Thursdays with Ms. Laura. Baby Bookworms will be Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. The home school program will be Thursdays at 11 a.m. with Ms. Delilah and the young adult program will be Thursdays at 4:30 p.m. with Ms. Leah.
Senior Center chili supper
Help your Senior Center raise money and enjoy a great meal! The Siloam Springs Senior Activity & Wellness Center will host its 41st Annual Chili Supper fundraiser 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5. The center will be serving all-youcan-eat home-cooked chili, real potato soup, beverage and dessert for $6 per person and $4 for kids under 10 years old. Take-outs are available. The Senior Center is located at 750 Heritage Court (just off West Tulsa St.) in Siloam Springs.
Class of 1958 reunion
The Siloam Springs Class of 1958 will be meeting from 1 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6, at the United Methodist Church, 325 E. Twin Springs in Siloam Springs. Spouses are invited as are members of the Class of 1957 and Class of 1959 and their spouses. If you have mementos, a yearbook or pictures to share, bring them. Vietnam veteran photos
The History Department at John Brown University requests community members who possess original photographs from the Vietnam War to consider making these available to the department. If the photos are not digitized, the history department can do that. With veterans permission, the photos would be used for historical purposes in classes and will be part of an evening event on Sept. 24 honoring those who served in Vietnam.
