Simple Grace - - Mood Index -

You live in the world, beautiful child, and so it’s natural that you will feel all sorts of tugs toward worldly things. You’ll feel greedy. You’ll feel jealous. You’ll feel grasping. These feelings are only human. The key to defeating them is to acknowledge them, offer them up to Me and then let them go completely. If they’ve left any unwanted residue on your spirit,

My Helper, the Holy

Spirit, can make short work of realigning your spirit to your Father’s way.

Imagine jealousy or greed or selfishness as a wrong note by one instrument in the playing of a symphony. As long as no one dwells on that note, it disappears almost instantly. The conductor keeps the music flowing onward and harmoniously. The secret to handling your human mistakes is to face them, summon the humility to offer them up and forget them so you can move forward in Me.

Do you have a minute or two right now? Send Me the joyous song of gratitude and love that you have in your heart. Feel your spirit lift in joy as the Holy Spirit brings you the beautiful melody of My love for you. If you’re feeling guilty over an envious feeling, offer that up to Me. Ask, Jesus, please take this wrong note out of my song. Then relax and let the Spirit do His work of remaking and refining. There…you are free of the off note! And ready for a very good day walking hand in hand with Me.

“If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
