Simple Grace - - Mood Index -

Dear child, your Father has put you in charge of your heart. And as the master of this domain, you want to keep it as pure, open and close to Me as possible. That’s your number one job in this life.

You are a member of many communities. And often, as you’ve found, people in a given community don’t cultivate the same heart for responsibility as you have. If you think of each community as a house, you always have a decision to make: Does this community contribute or take away from the cultivation of the purity of my heart?

When you find that the hearts of the majority of the community are far away from yours, it’s not worth sharing yourself with them. You must move away. Sometimes this will be the case. When you find a community where your heart is at home, but occasionally someone drops the ball, simply forgive and continue on.

One additional caution: Try not to make an idol out of conscientiousness. As admirable as that quality is, it does not trump an open heart. Conscientiousness is not a god or a standard by which you should harshly judge others.

Come to Me now and rest in Me in love. Send Me your love and feel your spirit lift and dance in joy. Spend five minutes simply being with Me. Work is good and dedication is important, but joyful rejoicing with Me and the Holy Spirit and your Father is even better.

“If the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.”
