Prayer journal craft

Simple Grace - - Front Page -

Transform any blank notebook into a precious prayer journal in minutes. Jot down what you discern daily to reach a higher level of love with our Lord

Step 1: Open the book and lay it facedown, pages spread out. Measure the book from left to right and cut a wide band from a map to this measurement, plus 2 inches extra on each side. (So if your book is 10 inches when spread, you’ll cut a 14" band.)

Step 2: Lay the map band facedown on a table and center the open book on top. Next, apply removable glue dots (like Glue Dots Adhesive Dot ’N Go Dispenser, $5, to the corners of the map; fold the map over the front and back inside covers of book and press down on the dots to stick.

Step 3: To create the label, snip a piece of white cardstock into a 3" x 4" rectangle. Apply glue to the back of the cardstock and press onto the map. Next, cut a piece of blue cardstock into a smaller rectangle and glue on top of the white rectangle.

Step 4: Write your favorite verse (like John 16:33) on the label using a marker or paint pen. When your prayer journal is full, remove the map band and stick onto a new journal.
