A READER ASKS

Simple Grace - - From The Editor -

“Dear Lord, I’m praying for so many other people right now that I’m getting anxious about missing out on my own time with You. I know that sounds terrible given the fact that I’m not dealing with what they are: My niece is undergoing chemo, my best friend is in the midst of an ugly custody battle and my sweetest office colleague lost her husband last month. But between asking You for strength and healing for them and honoring other prayer requests that come up, I’m emotionally drained. By the time I get around to You and me after ticking down my prayer list for others, the best I can offer is a brief, ‘Thanks for listening.’ And praying is starting to feel like a chore. Can You help lead me in a better way?”
